Created by a woman for all women
Alessia Kish is the visionary mind and beating heart behind Kysh Cosmetics.
Her philosophy of self-care is an invitation to love and nurture every part of the body—including the intimate area—with targeted, safe, and highly effective products.
This vision led to the creation of Kysh, an Italian intimate care brand born from the desire to liberate the conversation around the vulva from years of stereotypes, embarrassment, and taboos.
It is a meticulously crafted project down to the finest detail—from the formulas and signature fragrances to its elegant, welcoming, and reassuring aesthetic—thoughtfully designed for all women.

How did your passion for the beauty world begin?
My passion for the beauty world has always been there, right from my earliest childhood memories. It is an industry that deeply moves me. In this sense, my very first love was fragrance. There are so many forms of art, and to me, perfumery is undeniably one of them.
When we look at a painting or listen to a song, the emotional response builds over time; with fragrances, however, the impact is instantaneous. That is why scents are so incredibly important to me. They possess the power to evoke emotions in a complete and immediate way. They are a profoundly powerful medium that, in just a matter of seconds, can bring forgotten memories back to life, or make us feel beautiful, strong, serene, and deeply confident.
My dream was always to be part of this world. So, following my academic studies in the creative field, I took my first professional steps as an event and marketing assistant, then as an e-commerce manager for several Italian beauty brands, and eventually as a project manager for a national pharmaceutical company
What is the story behind the birth of Kysh?
It was 2017, long before I began working in the beauty industry. I was chatting with my friends about how irritating waxing could be for such a delicate area like the bikini line, and how incredibly hard it was to find safe, reliable, and targeted products for feminine intimate care without having to visit a pharmacy or a sex shop. At the time, there wasn’t a single Italian brand dedicated entirely to the V-zone that offered pure skincare—everything was either overly clinical or sexually connoted.
So, I started researching. I looked at overseas markets and found a few brands that mirrored my vision of intimate care. However, I still felt a bit inexperienced and knew I needed to gain hands-on industry experience first, so I put the idea on hold. I only picked the project back up when I felt truly ready. And that is how Kysh was born. I created a brand that, first and foremost, served my own needs—and ultimately, one designed to be perfect for every woman.
What is your approach to self-care?
I never compromise on the pleasure of my daily skincare ritual. And it goes far beyond just the face: I use dedicated products for every part of my body, including the intimate area. Choosing my fragrance is another fundamental moment; I select my scent based on my mood or the kind of day that awaits me. Finally, whenever I have a little extra time—even just twenty minutes is enough—I indulge in the luxury of a relaxing hot bath, completely immersed in rich soaps, essential oils, and beautifully scented bubbles.
We always hear a lot about confidence, acceptance, body positivity. How do these concepts relate to vulva care?
That is a complex question, and I don't believe there is a single, universal answer for every woman. So, I will start with my own experience. Throughout my life, I have often struggled with body confidence. Yet, choosing to care for my body—even on the days I wished it looked different—has always been a truly revolutionary act of self-love.
I believe that our unique beauty should be a source of strength and self-assurance, far removed from the unrealistic norms and stereotypes that try to make us feel inadequate. Profound changes often begin with small, daily gestures of self-care. But to be truly transformative, this care must be holistic, embracing even the most taboo parts of ourselves, including our intimate area.
